About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed and robust project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and high performance.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing timely and effective mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress against milestones, budgets, and quality standards, providing comprehensive status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects are delivered successfully, meeting defined objectives, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a strong portfolio of successful project deliveries.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage large project budgets and complex resource assignments effectively.
• Professional project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, requiring regular attendance at our Reading office.
