Senior Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, UK . In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of key business projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals and are completed within scope, time, and budget constraints. You will work closely with various departments, manage cross-functional teams, and serve as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, driving efficiency and successful outcomes in a challenging business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans , defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and best practices.
• Track project progress, manage changes, and provide regular status reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Significant experience (7+ years) in project management , preferably within a complex organizational structure.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
