Job Description
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong commercial experience with Python.
- Experience building and operating production backend systems at scale.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.
- Experience developing APIs and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
- Experience with testing, CI/CD, version control, and modern development workflows.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with Docker and containerised environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka.
- Experience working with AI/ML, data platforms, or high-volume systems.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth technology environment.
