Senior QA Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant frameworks and tools.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects thoroughly and clearly.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing techniques.
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and test management tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, working effectively in a hybrid office setting in Norwich .
