About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join their growing, fully remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies. You will lead the design and execution of test plans, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using relevant frameworks.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using issue-tracking systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to the improvement of QA processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
- Proven experience in writing test automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
