Senior Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead their quality initiatives at their facility in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality management systems to ensure products meet the highest standards of excellence. This role involves leading a team of QA professionals, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and driving a culture of quality throughout the organization. Your strategic oversight will be critical to ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
• Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, fostering professional growth and performance.
• Oversee all aspects of the quality management system, including audits, inspections, and compliance.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, and other departments to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Extensive knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing QA operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
