Senior Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality initiatives at their Bristol manufacturing site. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving a culture of continuous improvement in product quality. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of QA methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team of QA professionals. Your expertise will be critical in upholding the company's reputation for delivering high-quality manufactured goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee all quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and process audits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, fostering professional development.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in managing QA teams and implementing QMS.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
