Senior Quality Assurance Officer - Pharmaceutical

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and diligent Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join their manufacturing operations in Southampton . This critical role ensures that all pharmaceutical products manufactured meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficacy. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), conducting internal audits, and managing external inspections. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with GMP and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular internal audits and participate in external regulatory inspections and customer audits.
• Review and approve batch manufacturing records, validation protocols, and reports.
• Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Develop and deliver quality training programs to manufacturing and operational staff.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
• Thorough understanding of GMP regulations, quality control principles, and validation processes.
• Proven experience in conducting audits, managing deviations, and implementing CAPAs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
