About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Quality Control Analyst to join their expanding pharmaceutical operations. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to contribute your expertise from anywhere while ensuring the highest standards of quality for pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to confirm they meet rigorous specifications and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve method validation, instrument calibration, data review, and ensuring compliance with GMP standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using various instrumental techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, dissolution).
- Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods according to regulatory guidelines and internal SOPs.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, ensuring proper calibration and performance.
- Review and approve analytical data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory setting.
- Proficiency with common analytical instrumentation and associated software.
- Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, pharmacopeial methods (USP, EP), and data integrity principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously with strong attention to detail.
