Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement quantitative models for derivative pricing, risk management, and algorithmic trading strategies.
- Perform rigorous statistical analysis and back-testing of model performance.
- Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to understand their needs and translate them into quantitative solutions.
- Monitor market data and model performance, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues.
- Contribute to the enhancement of existing trading systems and risk infrastructure.
- Document model methodologies, assumptions, and limitations clearly and comprehensively.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Financial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis within investment banking, asset management, or hedge funds.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or R.
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and risk management principles.
- Proficiency with statistical software and databases.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
