Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced quantitative models for financial markets.
- Conduct rigorous statistical analysis and back-testing of trading algorithms and risk models.
- Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and risk officers to understand needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Research and implement new methodologies and technologies to enhance quantitative capabilities.
- Ensure the accuracy, robustness, and scalability of all developed models and analytical tools.
- Contribute to the development of data infrastructure and tools supporting quantitative research.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
- Significant experience (5+ years) as a Quantitative Analyst or in a similar quantitative role within finance.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, time series analysis, and machine learning techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or Java, with a focus on scientific computing libraries.
- Experience with large datasets and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong aptitude for abstract thinking.
