Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex quantitative models for risk management, pricing, and trading.
- Conduct statistical analysis and back-testing of trading strategies and portfolio performance.
- Collaborate with trading desks and risk management teams to translate business needs into quantitative solutions.
- Develop tools and methodologies for data analysis and model validation.
- Stay current with academic research and industry trends in quantitative finance.
- Ensure models are robust, well-documented, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Quantitative Analyst in the Banking & Finance sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or Java, and experience with financial libraries.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, suitable for a remote role.
