Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate complex quantitative models for pricing, risk assessment, and forecasting.
- Implement models using programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or MATLAB.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
- Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and risk managers to translate business needs into quantitative solutions.
- Backtest trading strategies and risk models, assessing performance and refining methodologies.
- Stay current with the latest academic research and industry best practices in quantitative finance.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Econometrics.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Quantitative Analyst or in a similar quantitative role in the financial industry.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and financial econometrics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, R, or MATLAB.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
