About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement quantitative models for pricing derivatives, managing risk, and optimizing trading strategies.
- Perform complex statistical analysis and data mining on large datasets to identify market patterns and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with trading desks and portfolio managers to understand their needs and translate them into quantitative solutions.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, production-ready code in languages such as Python, C++, or R.
- Contribute to the research and development of new quantitative techniques and methodologies.
- Validate and backtest models to ensure their accuracy, robustness, and performance under various market conditions.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis or a similar role within investment banking, hedge funds, or asset management.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python, C++, R) and experience with financial libraries.
- Deep understanding of stochastic calculus, time series analysis, machine learning, and numerical methods.
- Experience with risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements in the financial industry.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a remote team.
