About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Quantitative Analyst to join their dynamic, remote-first trading strategies team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, backtest, and deploy complex quantitative models for asset pricing , risk management, and trade execution.
• Design and implement sophisticated algorithms using statistical and machine learning techniques to identify alpha-generating opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with traders and portfolio managers to translate research findings into actionable trading strategies.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis and feature engineering on large, diverse financial datasets.
• Perform rigorous model validation and performance monitoring, ensuring robustness and accuracy.
• Stay abreast of the latest academic research and industry trends in quantitative finance.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
• Proven track record of at least 5 years in a quantitative research or trading strategy development role within the financial industry.
• Strong programming skills in Python (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn) and/or C++.
• Deep understanding of stochastic calculus , time series analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with large-scale data analysis and proficiency in SQL.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
