Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role involves overseeing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures. You will ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time, providing expert advice on contractual and financial matters. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, tender, and deliver complex cost estimates and bills of quantities.
• Manage all costs relating to publicly available information or potential projects from early stages through to completion.
• Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
• Advise on procurement strategy and contractual arrangements to ensure favourable outcomes.
• Conduct feasibility studies and financial viability assessments for new projects.
• Negotiate and agree on contractual terms and manage payments throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry .
• Strong understanding of construction contracts , regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in cost management software and standard office applications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
