Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a leading Civil Engineering business currently supporting the commercial delivery of a significant Highways framework. As part of this programme, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the wider commercial team. We're looking for someone with:

A strong commercial background within highways, ideally gained across maintenance or term service contracts; Good working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4, with exposure to Term Service Contracts and Options A, C and E; Experience managing the commercial performance of highways works, including cost control, forecasting, CVRs and commercial reporting; A sound understanding of NEC change and contract administration, including compensation events, early warnings, Defined Cost and contractual notices; The confidence to work closely with both client and contractor teams, providing commercial input and support throughout the programme; The ability to manage their own workload whilst contributing effectively as part of a wider commercial team. The role & package: Hybrid working - typically 1-3 days per week on site/in the office, with the remainder working remotely. £65,000-£70,000 DOE + benefits Package includes 25 days' annual leave + bank holidays, private healthcare and annual bonus.
