Senior Radiographer - MRI/CT

About the Role

Our client, a leading diagnostic imaging centre in Nottingham , is seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer specializing in MRI and CT scanning. This role is critical in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, working with advanced technology and complex patient cases. You will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and producing accurate diagnostic images for interpretation. This position requires strong technical skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to contribute to a professional and efficient imaging department. Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI and CT scans according to established protocols and physician requisitions.
• Ensure optimal image acquisition quality and patient positioning for accurate diagnosis.
• Operate and maintain advanced MRI and CT imaging equipment, troubleshooting as needed.
• Provide clear explanations and support to patients throughout the scanning procedure.
• Adhere to strict radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Radiographer .
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in diagnostic radiography, with a strong focus on MRI and CT.
• Postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in MRI and CT scanning.
• Proficiency in operating modern MRI and CT scanners from various manufacturers.
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional imaging principles.
