About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Real Estate Developer to join their progressive team in a fully remote capacity. This senior role will involve identifying, evaluating, and executing complex development projects across the UK, focusing on strategic land acquisition, planning, and project management. You will be instrumental in driving profitability and delivering high-quality developments that meet market demand and community needs. The ideal candidate possesses a strong track record in large-scale development, excellent financial acumen, and the ability to lead diverse project teams effectively, all while working remotely and contributing to significant urban regeneration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new development opportunities, conducting feasibility studies and market analysis.
• Lead the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept and land acquisition to planning, construction, and sales/leasing.
• Develop detailed financial models, secure funding, and manage project budgets to ensure profitability.
• Oversee the planning application process, engaging with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and legal advisors throughout the development process.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, policy changes, and emerging opportunities in the real estate development sector.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in real estate development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of planning law, construction processes, and property finance.
• Excellent financial modelling, negotiation, and deal-structuring skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage complex projects remotely, and make strategic decisions.
• A relevant degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related field.
