About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Real Estate Paralegal to join their fully remote legal team, supporting operations based in Derby . This role is critical for managing the legal aspects of real estate transactions, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and processed efficiently. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, and external parties to facilitate smooth property deals, title management, and closings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of real estate law and procedures, with a strong ability to manage tasks autonomously in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and revising real estate contracts, leases, and closing documents.
• Conduct title searches, review title commitments, and identify potential encumbrances.
• Prepare and file necessary legal documents with relevant government agencies and courts.
• Coordinate real estate closings, managing timelines and ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, and other legal professionals remotely.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily accessible.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal .
• Extensive knowledge of real estate law, title insurance, and closing procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research, document management systems, and standard office software.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Paralegal certification or a Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly preferred.
