Key Responsibilities

• Manage a substantial caseload of complex commercial property transactions , including acquisitions, disposals, and leasing.
• Advise clients on a wide range of property law matters, including development, planning, and financing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and leases.
• Conduct thorough legal due diligence on behalf of clients.
• Liaise effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction progression.
• Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and paralegals within the real estate department.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience (minimum 7 years) in commercial real estate law in Scotland .
• Proven track record of managing complex transactions independently.
• In-depth knowledge of Scottish property law and practice.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and business development capabilities.
