This role, based in Wolverhampton but offering remote working flexibility, will involve managing and expanding relationships with government bodies, local authorities, and non-profit organizations. You will be instrumental in placing skilled professionals into critical public service roles, contributing to the smooth operation of essential services across the region. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders within the public sector .
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a wide range of roles, from administrative to specialist positions.
- Source high-calibre candidates, ensuring they meet the stringent requirements of public sector organizations.
- Conduct thorough vetting processes, including background checks and compliance verification.
- Achieve and exceed placement targets and contribute to business development within the public sector.
- Stay abreast of public sector procurement processes and compliance regulations relevant to West Midlands authorities.
Requirements
- Proven track record (5+ years) as a Recruitment Consultant , with significant experience recruiting for the public sector.
- Deep understanding of public sector recruitment processes, frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a demanding workload in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with ATS and experience working with large-scale recruitment projects.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to diversity and inclusion in recruitment.
