About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their expanding team in Cambridge . This role focuses on managing the full recruitment lifecycle for key clients, with an emphasis on building strong relationships and identifying niche talent within the science and technology sectors. You will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and placing high-calibre candidates, contributing to the consultancy's reputation for excellence in the East of England. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to take ownership of client accounts and contribute to significant business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for a diverse client base, ensuring timely and successful placements.
• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced sourcing techniques and networking to attract top-tier talent, particularly within STEM fields.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Negotiate offers and manage the candidate journey through to successful onboarding.
• Stay abreast of market trends and talent availability within the Cambridge innovation hub.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in agency-side recruitment or Recruitment Consultancy , ideally with a focus on technical or scientific roles.
• Proven ability in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, results-driven approach with a passion for connecting talent with opportunity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of the Cambridgeshire technology and research landscape is advantageous.
