About the Role

Our client, a prestigious Recruitment Consultancy in Reading , Berkshire, is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead key client engagements and drive revenue growth. This pivotal role involves managing the entire recruitment lifecycle for mid to senior-level appointments across a range of industries. You will be responsible for developing new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and ensuring the highest quality of service delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development initiatives, identifying and securing new client partnerships in the Berkshire region and beyond.
• Manage complex recruitment mandates from brief to successful placement, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Source, engage, and assess high-calibre candidates for senior and specialist roles.
• Provide strategic market intelligence and consultative advice to clients.
• Negotiate terms and facilitate the successful onboarding of placed candidates.
• Mentor and support junior consultants, sharing best practices and market knowledge.

Requirements

• Significant proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant , with a strong record of commercial success.
• Demonstrated ability in business development, account management, and high-level client relationship building.
• Expertise in executive search, candidate sourcing, and assessment methodologies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A solid understanding of the business landscape in Reading and the Thames Valley.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead projects effectively.
