Senior Remote Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Remote Project Manager to lead critical projects across their distributed workforce. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in guiding projects from conception through to successful completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and seamless collaboration among geographically dispersed teams. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, proactive communication, and a strong ability to manage complex initiatives without direct physical supervision, fostering a high-performance remote culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of complex projects, from planning and initiation to execution and closure, in a remote setting.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, timeline creation, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Facilitate clear, concise, and regular communication across distributed teams and stakeholders via virtual channels.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective remote mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and accessible to relevant parties in a central repository.
• Monitor project performance against key metrics and provide comprehensive reports to senior management.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management , with a significant portion managing remote or distributed teams.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget, utilizing various project management methodologies .
• Exceptional virtual communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Slack, Zoom).
• Strong ability to work autonomously, manage priorities effectively, and maintain high productivity in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; PMP or equivalent certification highly desirable.
