Senior Research Associate - Immunology

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate to join their cutting-edge Immunology research team in Liverpool . This role will be integral to advancing our understanding of the immune system and developing novel immunotherapies. You will perform complex laboratory experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the design of research projects focused on immune cell function, inflammation, and immune-related diseases. Key Responsibilities

• Execute a range of immunological assays, including flow cytometry, ELISAs, cytokine analysis, and cell-based functional assays.
• Isolate and culture immune cells from various biological sources (e.g., blood, tissues).
• Prepare samples and perform data analysis for complex immunological experiments.
• Contribute to the design and optimization of new experimental protocols and methodologies.
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and contribute to the preparation of research reports and presentations.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the research team and external collaborators.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Immunology , Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on laboratory experience in immunology research.
• Demonstrated expertise in flow cytometry (e.g., multi-parameter staining, data analysis).
• Experience with cell culture techniques and aseptic techniques.
• Strong understanding of immune cell populations and their functions.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
