Senior Research Fellow - Immunology

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and accomplished Senior Research Fellow to join their renowned immunology research group in Belfast . This role is integral to advancing our understanding of immune responses and developing novel immunotherapies. You will design and execute complex experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the publication of findings in high-impact journals. Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct innovative experiments in cellular and molecular immunology .
• Investigate the mechanisms of immune cell activation, differentiation, and function.
• Analyze complex immunological datasets using various computational and statistical methods.
• Prepare and present research findings at internal meetings and external scientific conferences.
• Contribute to grant writing and the development of new research proposals.
• Mentor postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers within the group.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Immunology, Biology, or a related life science discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of post-doctoral research experience with a strong focus on immunology.
• Proven expertise in techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISpot, cell culture, and molecular biology methods.
• Experience with immunological assays and animal models is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of publications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research-intensive environment.
