Senior Research Scientist - Bioinformatics

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with biologists, chemists, and other scientists to interpret results and guide experimental design.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the strategic direction of research initiatives.
• Present findings at internal meetings and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant research experience post-PhD, with a strong publication record.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with bioinformatics toolkits and databases.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
