Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for analyzing large-scale biological data, including genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics.
• Apply statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, correlations, and predictive models from experimental data.
• Collaborate with experimental research teams to design studies, interpret results, and guide future research directions.
• Manage and process diverse biological datasets, ensuring data quality, integrity, and efficient storage.
• Create clear and informative data visualizations and reports for scientific publications and presentations.
• Contribute to the development of new computational tools and strategies to enhance research capabilities.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in bioinformatics, with a strong focus on analyzing biological data.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
• Experience working with biological databases and public data repositories.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
