Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute complex experiments for target identification and validation using advanced molecular and cellular biology techniques.
• Lead research projects from inception to proof-of-concept, including data analysis and interpretation.
• Develop and implement novel assay methodologies to support drug discovery campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with medicinal chemists to design and synthesize lead compounds.
• Prepare comprehensive research reports, scientific publications, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to a culture of scientific rigor and continuous learning.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related life science field.
• A minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery, with a proven track record of success.
• Extensive experience with a variety of biological assays, including cell-based assays, biochemical assays, and high-throughput screening (HTS).
• Strong understanding of disease biology and therapeutic pathways relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and a solid understanding of statistical principles.
