Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute complex genomic research studies , including next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation and analysis.
• Develop and optimize novel bioinformatic pipelines for large-scale genomic data analysis and interpretation.
• Supervise and mentor junior research staff, guiding experimental design and data analysis techniques.
• Analyze, interpret, and present complex genomic data to internal teams and at scientific conferences.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of R&D initiatives, identifying new research avenues and therapeutic targets.
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety regulations and maintain meticulous experimental records.

Requirements

• PhD in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related life sciences discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry research experience in genomics and NGS technologies.
• Proven expertise in bioinformatic tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, bash).
• Demonstrated experience with various sequencing platforms and data analysis software.
• Strong understanding of human genetics, disease mechanisms, and drug discovery processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a track record of publications and presentations.
