Our client is seeking a talented and driven Senior Research Scientist with a specialization in Immunology to join their cutting-edge research and development team in Edinburgh . Key Responsibilities
- Design, conduct, and interpret experiments related to immune cell function, signaling pathways, and inflammatory responses.
- Develop and validate novel immunological assays and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including virologists, cell biologists, and computational biologists.
- Present research findings at scientific meetings and contribute to manuscript preparation.
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to project planning and strategy.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field with a strong focus on immunology.
- 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in immunology research.
- Expertise in techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISAs, cytokine analysis, and immune cell culture.
- Proven track record of research accomplishments, evidenced by publications and presentations.
