Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate novel disease control methods, including biological and chemical approaches.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists, technicians, and research assistants.

Requirements

• PhD in Plant Pathology, Botany, Microbiology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of post-doctoral research experience in plant disease research.
• Proven expertise in fungal, bacterial, or viral plant pathogens and their interactions with host plants.
• Demonstrated experience in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing research projects and teams.
• Familiarity with molecular biology techniques, genomics, and bioinformatics is highly desirable.
