Key Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives focused on identifying, diagnosing, and managing economically important plant diseases.

- Analyze and interpret large datasets using advanced statistical and bioinformatics tools.
- Develop and validate novel disease control methods, including biological and chemical approaches.
- Mentor and guide junior scientists, technicians, and research assistants.
- Author scientific publications, present findings at international conferences, and contribute to grant writing.
Requirements
- PhD in Plant Pathology, Botany, Microbiology, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of post-doctoral research experience in plant disease research.
- Proven expertise in fungal, bacterial, or viral plant pathogens and their interactions with host plants.
- Demonstrated experience in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing research projects and teams.
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques, genomics, and bioinformatics is highly desirable.
