Senior Reservoir Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Leicester . This critical role involves managing and optimizing hydrocarbon recovery from oil and gas fields, employing advanced simulation techniques and data analysis to maximize production and profitability. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed reservoir simulation models to predict reservoir performance and evaluate development strategies.
• Analyze production data, well performance, and geological information to identify opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, economic evaluations, and reserves estimates for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production engineers to ensure integrated field development and operations.
• Mentor junior reservoir engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of technical workflows and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in reservoir engineering , with a proven track record in simulation and field development.
• Proficiency with industry-standard reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, Petrel RE).
• Strong understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid properties, and enhanced oil recovery techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
