Senior Reservoir Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their dynamic team based in London, England, UK . This pivotal role involves managing and optimizing the production of oil and gas assets through advanced reservoir characterization and simulation techniques. You will be instrumental in developing long-term field development strategies, forecasting production, and identifying opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reservoir studies , including data analysis, geological modeling, and dynamic simulation to understand reservoir behavior.
• Develop and implement field development plans, production optimization strategies, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects.
• Generate accurate production forecasts and economic evaluations for various scenarios.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to ensure alignment on field development and operational objectives.
• Monitor reservoir performance, analyze production data, and recommend adjustments to optimize recovery and minimize risks.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and management regarding reservoir performance and development strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry .
• Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel RE) and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of reservoir rock and fluid properties, petrophysics, and geological concepts.
• Experience with secondary and tertiary recovery methods .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
