About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their dynamic team in London . This critical role involves analyzing and optimizing hydrocarbon recovery from oil and gas reservoirs, utilizing advanced simulation techniques and geological data. You will play a pivotal part in developing field development plans, forecasting production, and evaluating new exploration opportunities to maximize asset value. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reservoir characterization and simulation studies using industry-standard software.
• Develop and implement reservoir management strategies to optimize production and recovery factors.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on reservoir performance, reserves estimates, and development plans.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production engineers to ensure integrated field development.
• Evaluate the economic viability of potential projects and provide technical recommendations for investment decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in reservoir engineering , with a focus on simulation and analysis.
• Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel RE) and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of reservoir rock and fluid properties, reservoir drive mechanisms, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience presenting technical findings to diverse audiences.
