About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This pivotal role involves conducting in-depth reservoir characterization, performance analysis, and forecasting to optimize hydrocarbon recovery and asset value. You will collaborate virtually with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to develop and implement innovative reservoir management strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed reservoir simulation and modeling to predict performance under various development scenarios.
- Analyze production data, well logs, and core data to understand reservoir heterogeneity and fluid flow.
- Develop and implement optimized field development plans, including injection strategies and recovery enhancement techniques.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the remote engineering community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering , with a proven track record in simulation and field development.
- Proficiency with industry-standard reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Tempest, Petrel RE).
- Strong understanding of geostatistics , petrophysics, and production engineering principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
