About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This critical role will focus on optimizing hydrocarbon recovery from our client's diverse portfolio of assets, employing advanced simulation and data analysis techniques. You will work autonomously, leveraging your expertise to provide strategic insights that drive production efficiency and maximize asset value. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed reservoir models using industry-standard simulation software to forecast performance and evaluate development scenarios.
- Analyze production data, well logs, and core data to accurately characterize reservoir properties and understand fluid flow behavior.
- Design and implement effective waterflood and EOR strategies to enhance recovery and optimize field development plans.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to ensure integrated field development and operational planning.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex reservoir engineering challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering , with a strong focus on simulation and field development.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Tempest, VIP) and data analysis tools.
- Proven ability to conduct complex reservoir studies and develop robust field development plans.
- Strong understanding of geology, petrophysics, and production engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
