Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader – New Children's Home

Salary & Package

Annual Salary: £38,500 per annum (including approximately 10 sleep‑ins per month)

Hourly Rate: £16.00 per hour

Sleep‑ins: Approximately 10 per month at £65 per sleep

Working Pattern: 2 on / 4 off (condensed shifts)

Service Users: Children & Young People aged 11–17 years

Qualifications & Experience

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Previous experience within an Ofsted Registered Children's Home supporting children and young people

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead shifts effectively and support colleagues on the team
• Maintain safeguarding standards and promote a safe environment
• Help establish an outstanding home culture and routines from day one

About the Provider

Our client is an independent children’s residential provider supporting young people aged 11–17, focused on developing social, emotional, independence and functional skills while building resilience for adulthood.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification is not considered equivalent
• Experience limited to Healthcare, NHS, CQC, Supported Living or Nursery settings is disqualifying
• Need sponsorship or are on a visa requiring sponsorship is disqualifying
• No CQC experience or work in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered
• Sponsorship is not available
