About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Retail Sales Associate to join their busy store in Birmingham . As a key member of the sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, driving sales, and providing product expertise. You will also assist in training new team members and upholding store standards, playing a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for every customer who walks through the door. Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers, understand their needs, and provide expert product recommendations to drive sales.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge across all merchandise categories.
• Assist with visual merchandising and ensuring the sales floor is attractive and well-organized.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales associates.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer-facing retail sales role, preferably with some experience as a senior associate or team leader.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
