About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join their esteemed financial services team in Wolverhampton . This role is central to identifying, assessing, and mitigating various financial and operational risks across the organization. You will develop and implement risk management strategies, conduct sophisticated analysis, and provide crucial insights to guide business decisions and ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and monitor key risks across the organization, including credit, market, operational, and compliance risks.
• Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate the likelihood and impact of potential risks.
• Prepare regular risk reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the banking and finance industry.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, financial instruments, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel Accords).
• Proficiency in risk modeling software, statistical analysis tools, and advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex risk information clearly.
