Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Lead curriculum planning and development for the Mathematics department, ensuring alignment with national standards.
• Mentor and guide other Mathematics teachers, providing pedagogical support and sharing best practices.
• Implement assessment strategies to monitor student progress and identify areas for intervention.
• Promote a love for Mathematics through innovative teaching methods and extracurricular activities.
• Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in departmental and school-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Significant experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, with a track record of student success.
• Expertise in curriculum design and delivery for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
