Senior Security Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Security Architect to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This strategic role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure and scalable enterprise-level security architectures. You will define security standards, guide technical teams on implementing secure solutions, and ensure that security is embedded into the fabric of the organization's technology landscape. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of modern security principles and a proven track record of architecting robust, resilient security systems in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure enterprise-level architecture across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and reference architectures.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on security best practices to engineering and operations teams.
• Lead security reviews of system designs, applications, and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including threat models and architectural diagrams.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, with a significant focus on security architecture .
• Extensive knowledge of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing security controls for large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of network security, cryptography, IAM, and application security.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
