Senior Security Architect

About the Role

Our client is looking for a visionary and technically strong Senior Security Architect to design and implement robust security solutions across their enterprise landscape. Working remotely, you will be responsible for defining security strategies, developing architectural blueprints, and guiding the implementation of security controls that protect the organisation from advanced threats. This role demands a deep understanding of current and emerging security technologies, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure enterprise-level IT architectures, ensuring security is integrated from the outset.
• Define and document security standards, patterns, and guidelines for technology adoption.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to address evolving threats.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure secure design and implementation of systems.
• Provide expert guidance on security best practices, risk management, and compliance.
• Lead threat modelling exercises and security reviews for critical projects.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in security architecture design and implementation.
• Deep understanding of various security domains, including network, application, cloud, and data security.
• Proven experience with cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance.
