Senior Security Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Security Consultant to provide expert guidance and strategic advice on information security matters. Based in Bristol , this role will involve assessing client security postures, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending tailored solutions to mitigate risks. You will work with a diverse range of clients across various industries, helping them to build robust security frameworks and respond effectively to cyber threats. This role demands strong analytical skills, excellent client-facing abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the evolving threat landscape, with a hybrid working model accommodating both client site visits and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, risk analyses, and compliance audits for clients.
• Develop strategic security recommendations, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Advise clients on best practices for data protection, network security, and incident response.
• Lead security projects, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to clients at all organizational levels.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, technologies, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security consulting or a similar client-facing security role.
• Expertise in various security domains, including risk management, penetration testing, security architecture, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of common security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) and regulations.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
