About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Consultant to join their growing team in Cardiff . In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and strategic guidance on information security matters to a diverse range of clients. You will assess security risks, develop tailored security strategies, and assist in the implementation of robust security measures. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and security audits for client organisations.
• Develop and present strategic security roadmaps and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Advise clients on compliance requirements and best practices across various industry standards.
• Lead security architecture design and implementation projects.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying further opportunities for security enhancement.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of consulting methodologies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in information security consulting or a similar advisory role.
• Deep understanding of security frameworks, governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).
• Proven track record in managing complex security projects and delivering successful outcomes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar are essential.
• Experience with various security technologies and solutions across different environments.
