Senior Security Engineer

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems, conducting vulnerability assessments, and responding to security incidents. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
• Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, providing recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security or a related role.
• Proven experience with network security , application security, and cloud security principles.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are highly desirable.
