Senior Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and SIEM systems.
• Develop and automate security processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct security architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Lead the response to complex security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in security engineering and operations.
• Strong expertise in network security, system security, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
• Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Experience with container security and orchestration platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
