About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Site Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, entirely remotely. This pivotal role demands exceptional leadership, planning, and communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, irrespective of geographical constraints. You will be instrumental in driving project success through effective remote team coordination, stakeholder management, and meticulous oversight of all construction phases, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for construction projects.
- Coordinate and supervise remote construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular remote site inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to building codes and project specifications.
- Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns proactively.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols across all project sites.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- Demonstrable success in managing complex construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and remote collaboration tools.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIOB, RICS) are highly desirable.
