About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and security-focused Senior Smart Contract Auditor to join their specialized team, working remotely to serve clients across the globe, including those in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK . You will be at the forefront of ensuring the security and integrity of blockchain applications by conducting in-depth audits of smart contracts and decentralized systems. This role is critical to maintaining trust and safety within the Crypto & Blockchain ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp analytical mind, a deep understanding of blockchain vulnerabilities, and a commitment to rigorous security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts and blockchain protocols to identify vulnerabilities and potential exploits.
• Analyze code for security flaws, logical errors, reentrancy attacks, and other common vulnerabilities.
• Provide detailed reports outlining findings, risks, and recommended remediation strategies to clients.
• Develop and maintain automated testing tools and frameworks for smart contract security analysis.
• Stay current with the latest smart contract vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve code quality and security practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in smart contract development and auditing, with a focus on security.
• Deep understanding of various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum) and their specific security considerations.
• Proficiency in analyzing Solidity or other smart contract languages for security defects.
• Experience with security analysis tools and techniques for smart contracts.
• Strong grasp of common smart contract vulnerabilities and defensive programming techniques.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
